Apprentice
for system integration.
As an apprentice for system integration, you’ll of course be based mainly in our IT department. But we think it’s important that you also get a general overview of other departments, so your apprenticeship will help you build up a wide range of skills.
Technical skills
You’ll learn how to configure IT and telecommunications systems, find out about industry standard networks and services, and gain an overview of user software. During the course of your apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to:
- assess IT problems
- build and maintain appropriate systems solutions
- organize and conduct technical IT projects
- ensure that all project work is carried out to the highest standards
Business skills
In our finance and financial controlling department, you’ll learn how to approach systems configurations, networks, systems solutions and systems installations from a commercial and economical point of view.
Service skills
As an apprentice for system integration, you are of course a key contact for users (and quite often find yourself being their saviour in their hour of need). You’ll be responding to user inquiries, diagnosing errors and finding appropriate technical solutions – so it’s important that you demonstrate an ability to empathize, to work as part of a team and to enjoy interacting with people.
